In the Family
My father was a Realtor in the waterfront community of Marion, MA. His obvious enjoyment of his work, satisfied clients, and ability to find time for family activities on land and sea led me to a career in real estate. I have listed and sold properties in the Greater Portland area for over 34 years.
Philosophy and Experience
My network of satisfied clients and customers has served as a base for my continued success. I believe in being realistic and straightforward in my business and cooperating to the maximum with other Realtors to achieve my Sellers’ or Buyers’ goals. I am a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and the Portland Board of Realtors, organizations dedicated to professionalism, ethical practices and education in the field.
When Not Selling Real Estate
An enthusiastic golfer, I belong to the MSWGA and SMWGA, two womens golf associations in the State of Maine. I also enjoy skiing, flyfishing, gardening and rustic camping.
I serve on the Board of the Maine Wilderness Watershed Trust, an environmental conservation organization focussed on a specific part of northern Maine.
Love of Historic Properties
An active member on the Board of Managers of the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of Maine, I am involved in preserving the Tate House built in 1775 in Portland’s historic Stroudwater area. I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Tate House Museum as Secretary and am on the Building Committee which oversees the care and maintenance of the 2 Colonial Dames properties in Portland, the Means House and the Tate House.Over the past 34 years I have participated in the sale of numerous antique properties. I have always loved the charm and character of older properties.
